The Club

A 100,000 square foot resident clubhouse

The Club at Kalea Bay sits at the center of the property and operates as the social and recreational hub for all five towers. The clubhouse spans more than 100,000 square feet across two restaurants, two outdoor pool bars, the wellness center, the racquet sports complex, family and teen lounges, twelve private guest cottages, and the concierge desk.

Every venue is reserved for residents and their accompanied guests. There is no public membership program, no transient hotel use, and no day passes. The amenities feel like a private resort because that is exactly how the Club is operated.

Pools

Three resort pools plus a rooftop pool on every tower

The central amenity deck holds three pools - a resort pool sized for both lap swimming and lounging, a separate adults-only pool with the Tiki Bar alongside, and a kids' wading pool with a splash pad next to the family game room.

Every one of the five towers crowns out at a rooftop terrace with its own 7,500 square foot deck, a negative-edge pool, an open-air fitness center, a sky lounge, and grill and seating areas. Every resident has access to all five rooftop terraces and to all three pools on the amenity deck below, so the choice on a given day is about light, crowd, and view rather than which tower you live in.

Dining

Salt and Oak, Driftwood Cafe, and two open-air bars

Salt and Oak is the main club restaurant - a relaxed-and-elegant setting with indoor and outdoor seating, poolside dining, a wine tasting room, a private dining and banquet room, and an outdoor event area with fire pits. Driftwood Cafe is the all-day cafe and grab-and-go at the pool deck, serving breakfast and lunch with specialty coffee, sandwiches, ice cream, and a sundries shop.

Two open-air bars round out the on-property food and beverage program: the Tiki Bar at the adults-only pool and the Driftwood Pool Bar at the family deck. Resident dining runs on a member account, and the private dining and banquet room is available for owner events on request.

Wellness Center

Fitness studio, Pilates, spin, sauna, and steam

The Wellness Center is built around a finished fitness floor with Techno Gym treadmills and ellipticals, Peloton stationary bikes, Techno Gym strength machines, free weights, and a dedicated stretch area. A spin room and Pilates studio host individual fitness programs and classes on a posted schedule.

Locker facilities are bespoke male and female with dry sauna and steam showers. Private treatment rooms host wellness services on a reservation basis.

Racquet Sports

Four Har-Tru tennis courts and eight pickleball courts

The racquet complex sits on the eastern side of the amenity deck with four Har-Tru tennis courts and eight pickleball courts. A dedicated pro shop runs daily clinics plus group and private lessons for players of all ages and skill levels, from basic court time to scheduled round robins.

Pickleball in particular has grown into one of the most active programs at the Club.

Family Amenities

Kids' game room, teen lounge, and the Bay Cottages

The family side of the Club includes a Kids' Wading Pool and Splash Pad, kid-sized chaise lounges, and a Game Room with child-sized furniture, books, chalkboard, and TVs. The Teen Lounge has virtual reality and PS4 games, multiple TVs, Sonic chairs, foosball, and WiFi.

Twelve custom-designed Bay Cottages on the property are reserved for members and their guests, with daily housekeeping, WiFi, a TV in each bedroom, local telephone service, refrigerator and coffee machine, iron, hairdryer, and dedicated parking. They are the simplest answer for residents whose own residence fills up over the holidays.

Beach Access

Resident shuttle to the Gulf

Kalea Bay does not operate its own beach club. Instead, residents have multiple paths to the Gulf within minutes of the gate. Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park (consistently ranked among the top beaches in Florida) and Vanderbilt Beach are short drives from the property.

An optional limited-membership program at the private Club at Moraya Bay - a separate beachfront property a short drive south on Vanderbilt Drive - offers residents annual VIP beach access with daily shuttle service, attended cabanas, and beachfront dining. Availability is limited and renewed annually.

Concierge & Security

Twenty-four-hour manned security and resident services

Kalea Bay is staffed by 24-hour manned security at the gatehouse for all arrivals, package receiving, and visitor screening. The on-site building manager team coordinates maintenance, insurance claims, and HOA-level requests, and the concierge handles routine resident requests on property.

WiFi is available throughout the cafe and the Bay Cottages, and outdoor fire pits at the main club restaurant round out the outdoor amenity program for residents who want to spend the evening on the property rather than driving out for the night.
